Too often in our lifetimes, we have had to bid farewell to one of our classmates. As certain as taxes, there will be more farewells as time goes on. This simple tribute page will grow, and there is nothing we can do about it. So let us celebrate life with those who remain, and remember with fondness everyone on this page, as we knew him or her when times were simpler, and we thought we would live forever.
We look at their pictures and say their names and the memories come back. "I remember her from biology class, she was a brain". "He was the best bowler in the school". "In the third grade she was the new girl in our class". "Her dad was quite a character". "She was the best kick ball player on the playground". "He sat next to me in homeroom". The memories could go on and on – and we all have them of someone we knew at LHS, now departed.
In some way during our teen and pre-teen years these friends had some sort of impact on our lives, and now we reflect on theirs. They could have had a major influence on us, or it could have been merely a brush in the hall on the way to class - or anywhere in between. Either way, they probably affected our journey through life in some way.
We cherish the memories.
